Do Manifesto — Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 24, 2026

Do Manifesto (domanifesto.com) is operated by Digital FYI Media ("Digital FYI Media," "we," "us," or "our"), a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit domanifesto.com, purchase our book or branded merchandise, enroll in or participate in life coaching services, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

Do Manifesto is a brand of Digital FYI Media, a sole proprietorship domiciled in Ontario, Canada. We provide:

Life coaching services, delivered via Google Meet, email, telephone, in-person and SMS (adults only — see Section 9);

Digital and print book sales, distributed through third-party platforms such as Amazon and print-on-demand ("POD") providers; and

Branded merchandise, currently sold through third-party POD/fulfillment partners, with direct fulfillment planned for the future.

2. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide Directly

- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, and mailing address (if you provide one for merchandise shipping).

- Coaching intake and session information: information you share when booking or attending coaching sessions, including goals, personal circumstances, and topics discussed during sessions. See Section 10 regarding sensitive information.

- Communications: messages you send us by email, SMS, contact forms, or during Google Meet sessions.

- Marketing opt-ins: your consent choices for email and SMS communications (see Section 6).

b) Information Collected Automatically

- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and general location (city/region level) derived from your IP address, collected via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

- Analytics and advertising data: collected through tools such as Google Analytics and, where enabled, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and TikTok Pixel, for measuring site performance and ad effectiveness. See Section 5.

c) Payment Information

We do not collect or store your full credit card or payment account details. Payments are processed directly by our third-party payment processors, Stripe and PayPal, each of which maintains its own privacy policy governing how they handle your payment data:

- Stripe Privacy Policy: https://stripe.com/privacy

- PayPal Privacy Statement: https://www.paypal.com/privacy

d) Information From Third-Party Sales Channels

If you purchase our book or merchandise through Amazon, a print-on-demand partner, or another third-party marketplace, that platform collects and processes your information under its own privacy policy, not this one. We may receive limited order or sales data (e.g., aggregate sales volume) from these partners, but generally do not receive your personal contact or payment details through these channels unless you separately provide them to us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

- Provide, schedule, and administer coaching sessions;

- Process purchases and fulfill orders (directly or through third-party distributors);

- Send transactional communications (booking confirmations, appointment reminders, order updates);

- Send marketing communications by email and SMS, where you have given consent (Section 6);

- Maintain, improve, and secure the Services and understand how visitors use our website;

- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Website Terms.

We do not use your information for any purpose materially different from those described here without notifying you or obtaining your consent, where required by law.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share information with:

- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., payment processors, email/SMS platforms, website hosting, analytics providers), bound by confidentiality and permitted to use your information only to provide services to us;

- Third-party sales and distribution platforms (e.g., Amazon, POD/fulfillment providers) as necessary to sell and deliver books and merchandise;

- Legal and safety purposes, where required to comply with law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Digital FYI Media, our clients, or others; and

- In connection with a business transfer, such as a sale, merger, or reorganization of Digital FYI Media, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

5. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website and understand visitor behavior, including:

- Google Analytics — website usage and traffic analysis. You may opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or Google Ads Settings.

- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok Pixel — used or planned for use to measure and deliver relevant advertising. You may manage ad preferences through Meta Ad Preferences and TikTok's ad settings, and through AdChoices / Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada.

Most browsers allow you to control or disable cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may limit certain features of the Services, such as booking forms or checkout functionality where applicable.

6. Email & SMS Communications (CASL, CAN-SPAM & A2P/TCPA Compliance)

When you fill out a form on our website or otherwise provide your email address or mobile number, we will only send you marketing email or SMS messages if you have given express consent at the point of collection.

No mobile information collected for SMS/text messaging purposes will be shared, sold, or disclosed to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. This does not apply to our SMS platform provider, who processes messages solely on our behalf to deliver the Services.

- Consent: By submitting your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive coaching-related and/or promotional text messages from Do Manifesto. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

- Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the "unsubscribe" link in any email, or by contacting us at [email protected].

- CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation): As a sender based in Ontario, Canada, our commercial electronic messages comply with CASL, including clear sender identification, our contact information, and a functional unsubscribe mechanism in every message.

- Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Third-Party Marketplaces & Distribution Partners

Because our book and merchandise are distributed through third parties such as Amazon and print-on-demand providers, your purchase, shipping, and payment information in those transactions is governed by that platform's own privacy policy — not this one. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party platform before completing a purchase there.

8. Google Meet & Coaching Sessions

Coaching sessions are conducted via Google Meet. Your use of Google Meet is also subject to Google's own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We do not record coaching sessions unless we notify you and obtain your consent in advance.

9. Age Restrictions

Coaching services are intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to book or participate in coaching.

Book and merchandise sales are generally available to the public without an age restriction; however, the Services as a whole are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us information may contact us at [email protected].

10. Sensitive Information Shared During Coaching

Life coaching conversations may touch on personal topics such as your goals, relationships, career, or general wellbeing. Do Manifesto is not a healthcare provider, and coaching is not medical, psychological, or clinical treatment. Please do not share medical records, diagnoses, or other clinical health information with us. Any personal information you voluntarily share during coaching is used solely to provide coaching services and is handled with the same confidentiality and security protections described in this Policy.

11. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain our business records, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it, subject to standard backup retention timelines.

12. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your personal information, including secure transmission for payment processing (handled entirely by Stripe and PayPal) and restricted access to client information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Canada (PIPEDA)

If you are a Canadian resident, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA") governs our handling of your personal information. You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request access to it, and to request correction of inaccurate information. To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at [email protected].

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada: https://www.priv.gc.ca or 1-800-282-1376.

California & Other U.S. State Residents (CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws)

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to:

- Know what personal information we have collected about you and why;

- Request deletion of your personal information;

- Correct inaccurate personal information;

- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the manner defined by these laws, but our use of advertising pixels described in Section 5 may be considered "sharing" under some state definitions — you can opt out via the links provided in that section);

- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

Because we operate exclusively online, you may submit a rights request by emailing [email protected]. We will verify your request using the information reasonably available to us before responding.

European Economic Area / United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA or UK, we process your personal information on the basis of your consent, the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you (e.g., coaching services or a purchase), or our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.

14. International Data Transfers

We are based in Ontario, Canada, and our service providers may process and store information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. By using the Services, you acknowledge your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with data protection laws that may differ from those of your home jurisdiction.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

16. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
